Establish a complete system to promote high-quality development

 "Establishing a complete set of operating system" and "Developing on the basis of creation in the past to lay the foundation for future development", this is the "Safety and Environmental Protection Committee---Expanded in the second quarter of 2020" held by Chairman Ji Bingyuan on July 25. New tasks proposed at the conference and precision management promotion meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Deputy General Manager Lu Jiyong, and Deputy General Managers Xu Sheng, Xu Li, Ding Junhua, Huang Yaoliang, Jiao Shujun, and Chief Financial Officer Zhou Xiaofeng attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Cai Jun, Minister of Safety and Environment, briefed the safety and environment work in the first half of the year.

Deputy General Manager Jiao Shujun made a report on quality brand, industry project promotion and technological innovation.

Wang Xin, Gu Jie and other department heads from each branch, as well as Dr. Dong Liming from Changshu Institute of Technology, introduced their respective achievements in innovation and reform and subject research.

       At the meeting, Deputy General Manager Lu Jiyong put forward the following requirements for the company's safety production and green environmental protection work in the first half of the year:

● 1. In the next stage, conduct an in-depth investigation on the safety of the company's high-altitude suspension facilities and equipment aisles.

● 2. Strengthen the emphasis on occupational health, carry out special rectification actions for occupational health, conduct inspections on high-risk positions, and implement branch assessments.

● 3. Refine the "Encouragement System for All Employees", and improve the system such as detailed clauses and hidden dangers of all employees.

● 4. Continue to carry out emergency escape drills for all employees, and conduct in-depth safety seminars; require each branch to conduct training and supervision of at least one type of work behavior specification, and strengthen the management of outsourced units.

● 5. In response to the occurrence of accidents, increase positive education and training, correct late reports and concealed reports of each branch, and regularly check training records.

● 6. Intensify technical innovation, sort out and rectify the problems raised by the Metallurgical Planning Institute, and promote the ultra-low emission acceptance assessment work.

● For 7, 6S work, special inspections will be carried out with the focus on window brightening operations and toilet cleaning operations.

Chairman Ji Bingyuan expressed "very affirmative" and "very satisfied" with the work results of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department and Vice President Lu Jiyong's careful deployment of safety and environmental protection.

He said that safety production is always on the road, and improving safety production is the real increase in productivity. Only when the two tasks of safety and environmental protection are done well can the enterprise develop healthily and steadily.

Regarding the company's refined management work such as the company's quality brand, industry project improvement and technological innovation, Chairman Ji said that green development is the key to enhancing the corporate image, and technological innovation is the direction of future corporate development.

At the meeting, Chairman Ji also analyzed the current domestic and international economic situation and conveyed the important speech of General Secretary Xi at the entrepreneurs forum. He emphasized that the domestic super-large-scale market advantage has been formed, and Longteng Special Steel must accelerate its ideological preparation to integrate into the domestic circular economy.

For the work in the second half of the year, the chairman proposed the following five specific work arrangements:

01  All branches, branch factories, and departments must find gaps according to the targets at the beginning of the year, find existing problems, and make up for the production and sales losses caused by the epidemic. He pointed out that today's achievements are derived from the foundation laid in the past. Without the foundations of previous years, there would be no today's achievements. At present, we must lay a solid foundation for the future, plan well, and make our work have a direction. 

02Promote  high-quality development. In-depth cooperation with high-end customers to promote high-quality development of the company, high-end customer opinions and complaints have the effect of driving high-quality development, Longteng Special Steel must focus on product quality like the work of safety and environmental protection, and create conditions for sustainable development in the future. 

03Establish  a cost management system. Strengthen cost control, improve product quality without increasing costs through technological innovation, and reduce costs through refinement and process optimization. 

04Focus  on original innovation. In terms of high-quality product development, we must learn from companies in developed countries such as Japan and benchmark strong companies in terms of quality. 

05Continuously  improve the management level. Early planning and early implementation of the next step is to achieve the "three highs", that is, high salaries, high standards, and high efficiency; to achieve the "three fasts", that is, quick implementation, quick feedback, quick delivery, and realization. "Three Goods", that is, a good working method, a good service attitude, and a good final result.

Chairman Ji finally emphasized that in the next five years, all cadres must shoulder the mission, work hard to be powerless, work hard to move themselves, and lead the team to realize all the plans and dreams of Longteng Special Steel.
