On November 7th, Christopher Yaluma, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry of Zambia, and a group of 2 people came to Longteng Special Steel for a field visit to the company’s building plants, production workshops, and corporate exhibition halls. The company Chairman and general manager Ji Bingyuan and deputy general manager Xu Sheng accompanied the visit. 

 

 

During the visit, Christopher Yaluma spoke highly of Longteng's business development and corporate culture. He believed that Longteng's development model in Zambia was unique and innovative, and made use of the local conditions in Zambia to create common ground. Value, to create a community of interests, is a path of sustainable development. He also said that in the future, it will give more support to Longteng's development in Zambia, and further expand the results of win-win cooperation.

 

 

 

At the end of October, Aimei Longteng Wear-resistant Materials (Zambia) Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation. The branch company is located in the Karumbira Industrial Park in Solwezi, Zambia, with a total investment of 60 million U.S. dollars (the first phase of 40 million U.S. dollars). It covers an area of ​​50,000 square meters and has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with First Quantum, the world's fourth largest copper mine; after the branch is put into operation, Longteng will achieve an annual output of 200,000 tons (120,000 tons in the first phase) of high-end grinding Materials: It is estimated to achieve annual sales of 132 million US dollars, and it is expected to provide 10 million US dollars in taxation to the local government every year. It is planned to solve the employment of 260 people (150 people in the first phase) and become the first local manufacturing industry.
